What is the normal state of the inside of the vagina post orgasm? My husband says mine swells up tight. it stays that way for a while. Do other women experience that or is my "condition" unusual?

Some tightening of the vagina after orgasm is common in some women, it's nothing to get worried about.
There is a condition called vaginismus where the vagina is tight at all times but this is quite rare and certainly not what you have.
