Percentage of woman who have orgasms?

Has there ever been a study(I'm sure there has) on the percentage of woman who experience an orgasm in general, clit orgasm and /or G-Spot orgasms? I have a feeling it may be lower than most men think. With the divorce rate in the U.S over 50% now, I kinda think that if a husband can make his wife cum over and over and over again ever day that in some way would make a stronger marriage. Don't get me wrong a strong healthy marriage is not all about sex, a multitude of give and takes are present, but study's do show a healthy, vibrant sex life is a sign of a good relations for a number of reasons. Also, what is the average amount of times a month a couple has sex? Once, twice, three times or more? Remember average for couples say 20-50yrs old. Look forward to the comments

saw a show on the clitoris the other night
it said something like 67% cant have a g spot orgasm
the tv ads for having better sex say 63% of women cant orgasm during sex
there's so many studies and info out there you'll be stuffed trying to work out whats correct
but i'd say 60-70%

This is ridiculous. ALL women can orgasm. Some are too timid to try pleasing themselves, or don't know how to, and have clueless partners who just thrust away and think they're doing their job if they can last for more than a minute or two.

A small percentage of women (and some men) suffer from anorgasmia and can't reach orgasm, even after medical treatment. The causes are little understood but may be down to pyschological, emotional, previous bad sexual experiences, physical factors or injury.

Sex survey statistics are notoriously unreliable, simply based on the fact that people are embarassed about sex in general, and may alter their answers based on the particular cultural or societal norms they subscribe to. Imagine the question given to men "Are you capable of satisfying your partner to orgasm?" - men are likely to answer in the positive even if they can't.

Having said that, the very rough percentages are something like:

90% of women can orgasm through clit stroking.

20% of women can orgasm through intercourse (i.e., vaginal or G-spot orgasm)

1-2% of women can orgasm through thought alone.

Women can orgasm through thoughts?? They must have an orgasm from a single touch to the clit or G-Spot!

No .. it takes about the same amount of time! She lies on the bed and simply thinks herself to orgasm.

Studies have been done where women do this, with no genital contact, inside MRI (brain scan) machines which confirm the orgasm.

(go to page 14)

Lady Gaga claims she can do it, and there's no reason to believe why not, if 1-2% of women can.

Wow! I think that is truly fascinating, lol.

Is that kinda like what men do while having a 'wet dream'? Only in a subconscious state? I haven't had one myself, but a friend of mine told me he had one. He thought he had a serious STD or something lol.

No, it's completely different. A wet dream happens while you're asleep. Women who can 'thought orgasm' can have them anytime they choose, at will. They can just lie down on the bed and go 'ok here i go ... mmmm .... mmm...' ... and then have the orgasm.

A wet dream is basically the body running your ejaculatory system through it's paces, particularly if you don't masturbate often.
