Painful Sex most of the time
I have painful sex a lot of times, and most times it is so painful that i will have to stop. Mine doesnt happen when i am on my period, cos i have never tried having sex when i am on my period. But i really want to know what is wrong, i have gone to the hospital and they couldnt find anything. Some times it wont be painful, but other times, it is painful.i have been having sex for some years now, and it was good when i started but now it is not good at all. Pls help
I feel the pain inside my vagina, i feel it some times wen he is penetrating, but most times after like 2mins into sex, then i start feeling pains inside, sometimes it get really bad and the pain is really much. I sometimes rub cream on the surface of my vagina, or spray somethings, not inside though but on the surface of it. I feel dry a lot of times during sex too, and we use condom sometimes, but it hurts more, so i always tell him not to use condom cos of the pain
Any help from anyone
One: get a good lube. Organic plain coconut oil is the best. Not sticky and can be used for everything. Use the ultra sensitive condoms with a good lube.
Two: if it gets completely unbearable at a particular spot, Talk to your doctor about Lidocaine. If the rest of the sex is good, except when its painful the Lidocaine can be very helpful.
Three: Do you have back injuries? My doctor said that mine was probably linked to my back problems.
Hun I had a very similar problem, i never had problems with sex till i turned 23 got tested for everything over and over, switched lubes, tried different positions... everything. you may aslo thing you have a lot of UTI's, a common symptom. I almost gave up but i finaly wondered if i was missing the target and it was not actually my vagina, i ended up going to a urologist who suspected i had a condition called IC or interstitial cystitis http://www.ic-network.com/
Its a very confusing condition, and there is not really any true diagnosis of it but there are a lot of diet and life style changes that can practically rid you of problems. For me i had to switch my birthcontroll (i was on nuva ring witch rubbed on my bladder causing "ghost" pains in my vagina) and i cannot eat tomatoes with out reaping the consequences. it sounds crazy but find a sympathetic urologist (many will tell you your nuts) and give the diet a try.
Where is the pain? On the surface, just inside, deep inside?
How long has it been painful?
Does it become painful straight away, or only after a few minutes of having sex?
Do you feel that you become dry during sex?
Does your partner use a condom?
Do you use any sprays, deodorants, creams etc on your vagina?
